People can withstand a lot.

What makes the difference is having the right support.

I’m a therapist, a parent, and someone who thinks the research on human connection is the most important thing we're not talking about enough. I've been in practice for over 15 years in Massachusetts, working with adults and families — and everything I've learned along the way informs how I work now.

I have a sense of humor and a lot of respect for the people I sit with. I don't think my clients are fragile, and I don't treat them like they are. I'm practical and direct by nature — I'm less interested in insight for its own sake than in what you're actually going to do with it.

Real Families came out of a pattern I kept seeing in my office — parents who were struggling, doing their best, and genuinely wanted to do better, but didn't need therapy. They needed information, a framework, and someone to think alongside them. So I built that. Real Families is parent coaching grounded in research — practical tools and real support for parents who are ready to do things a little differently, without a diagnosis.

Outside of work, I'm a parent of two kids who keep me honest about how hard this actually is. We have two dogs — one is a therapy dog who brings calm to everyone she meets, and one who has chosen a different path. We travel as much as we can.

Whether you're here for therapy or for Real Families, the next step is the same — just reach out. No lengthy intake forms, no automated responses. Just me.
